Best Answer

The biggest flaw in synthetic cell creation is that it is uncontrollable after it is created.Ê They can produce a living organism with a sythetic genome for a specific purpose but after its done there are no guarantees that it will perform or behave in the way it was designed to.

Can you freeze yourself and live?

No, at least no yet. When freezing human living tissue, water cristals form in cells. The water cristals damages the cell membrane. Degrading the tissue. Some animals secrete antifreeze in their system so that this does not occur. Maybe some day, a synthetic antifreeze might be introduced in a human body wich would permit it to be frozen without the creation of cristals.
