The enV (currently enV3) fits your criteria. It flips open sideways and has a full qwerty keyboard. It also has a traditional keypad (with T9 functionality) on the front when not flipped open, although this has a small screen and is more cumbersome than a typical 12-button keypad phone because the phone's design assumes you'll use the qwerty keypad for most texting.
