Although a Light Ball doubles the Atk and Sp.Atk of Pikachu but not Raichu, Raichu has all-round higher stats, so evolve Pikachu as soon as you get it, then teach it the following moves as you level train it to Lv.50 or higher.
Thunderbolt
Brick Break/Reversal
Counter/Dig/Iron Tail
Hyper Beam
Electric moves have barely any weaknesses, except Grass and Ground, so all Pikachu and Raichu should know Thunderbolt.
Most Ground-types are usually also Rock-types, so Raichu should know a move effective against Rock Pokémon. Ground and Rock moves are considered physical, so Counter is better the more HP Raichu loses against a Golem. Dig helps Dodge 2-turn moves like Solarbeam, while Iron Tail is a stretch, due to low accuracy, but it may be the strongest of these 4 choices.
Hyper Beam is a last resort, due to Raichu's imperfectness of covering its abilities; its Fighting-type moves aren't STAB'ed, so the foe probably won't faint in 1 hit, so the foe may use Earthquake to KO Raichu in one hit.
Flamethrower
Earthquake
Body Slam
Rock Slide/Sunny Day
Flamethrower and Earthquake are standard STAB (same-type attack bonus) moves that almost all Camerupt should know.
Body Slam and Rock Slide are other good Atk moves to make good use of Camerupt's higher-than-average Atk.
Sunny Day is for covering Camerupt's worst nightmare: its quadruple weakness against Water, plus a boost for Flamethrower too. Too bad Camerupt can't learn Solarbeam.

Pikachu cannot naturally learn Volt Tackle. One way for a Pikachu to know Volt Tackle is if it was a Mystery Gift Pikachu from PKMN Battle Revolution. The only other way for a Pikachu to know Volt Tackle is by breeding (using a Ditto with a Pikachu or Raichu will work) a Pikachu or Raichu that is holding a Light Ball. The hatched Pichu will know moves passed from its father and Volt Tackle.
yes pikachu can also if you need any other help on moves in pokeman goto serebii.net
Everybody around the world knows who pikachu is.
I believe that a Lv100 Pikachu is better because it knows a wide variety of moves that can defeat Raichu.
As of the Pokemon Diamond and Pearl games, Pikachu learn the following moves:Egg moves - Bide, Charge, Doubleslap, Encore, Fake Out, Present, Reversal, Thunderpunch, Tickle, Volt Tackle, WishPichu moves - Charm, Sweet Kiss, Nasty PlotStart moves - Thundershock, GrowlLevel 6 - Tail WhipLevel 10 - Thunder WaveLevel 13 - Quick AttackLevel 18 - Double TeamLevel 21 - SlamLevel 26 - ThunderboltLevel 29 - FeintLevel 34 - AgilityLevel 37 - DischargeLevel 42 - Light ScreenLevel 45 - ThunderPikachu will learn: thundershock, growl, thunder wave, quick attack, swift, agility, and thunder. Any other moves Pikachu is compatible with, may be learned by certain TM and/or HM moves.
It doesn't learn moves you need to teach pikachu the best moves (thunderbolt, thunder, slam, quick attack) Then evolve pikachu into raichu.

well red (Ash)'s pikachu has iron tail volt tackle thunder bolt and tackle that's all i know from the show other moves could be iron tail electric shock and tackle attack i know allot about Pokemon
In Pokémon Gold, Silver and Pokémon Crystal, the moves Red's Pikachu will know are Thunderbolt, Charm, Quick Attack and Thunder. In Pokémon HeartGold and Pokémon SoulSilver, his Pikachu's moves are Thunderbolt, Iron Tail, Quick Attack and Volt Tackle. In Pokémon Black 2 and Pokémon White, the moves his Pikachu uses are Fake Out, Brick Break, Iron Tail and Volt Tackle.
It wouldn't be able to learn earthquake and fissure because even with breeding pikachu will not be able to learn those moves, plus rhyhorn is not in the same egg group as pikachu.
It doesn't. Pikachu learns all the moves when you evolve it it will stop learning moves.
It can usually learn egg moves. They are moves they get from there mum and dad Pokemon such as volt tackle, which can be gained when giving a light orb to the father Pikachu before breeding.
Pikachu is much stronger. Rattata is one of the weaker Pokemon in the game. Pikachu, on the other hand, is one of the better Pokemon in the game. Pikachu will also learn better moves.
He only learns like five moves. It is better to level up a pikachu.
viridian forest and the Yellow Forest Pokewalker Route. If caught in the Yellow Forest they might know some special moves.
