There are no other names for sugar gliders.
There are, however, five other varieties of glider which are related to sugar gliders. These include the Feathertail glider, Mahogany glider, Greater glider, Yellow-bellied glider and Squirrel glider.
People have made up names for sugar gliders such as "sugar babies" and "honey gliders", but these and other similar names are not legitimate names for sugar gliders.

∙ 10y agoFemale opossums, which is what a sugar glider is, are most often called jils. Males are jacks. Young are joeys.
Other names for other marsupials are some times used, female kangaroos are does, jils, or flyers. Males are bucks or jacks, young are joeys.
The terms for squirrels, which sugar gliders resemble and are often mistaken for, are doe, buck and kitten. Don't call your sugar glider, or confuse it with a squirrel, for one thing as I am once again experiencing, sugar glider and even opossum is way easier to spell than squirrel.
If you are looking for a name to call your sugar glider, Jill and Doe are probably way to common. That's probably true of names based on sugar too, Sweetie, etc. Dulce is Spanish for sweet, Don Quixote's love was named Dulcinea, there is Dulcie and Dulcebella maening sweet and pretty. Gliders are in the genus ,Petaurus, perhaps Pet, Petula, Petunia? If Flyer is good enough for a clumsy kangaroo it is even better for a glider. The Dryads were classical Greek spirits that lived in trees, most of them have rather strange names but there is Phoebe which means bright and shiny.
Aerial means of the air, but Arial, familiar from Disney means "iron of God".

Well a Sugar glider can live in many different habitats and environments. The ones that I know of is a little nest that the build in/on a tree. If the Sugar glider's nest is in the tree.... there will be a big hole in a tree branch with multiple twigs and leaves. Though if this adorable animal is living on the tree it is almost like a bird nest but, there are a bunch of leaves. These creatures use twigs for the structure and make the rest with leaves.
