-Minnesota Twins Baseball games -Fishing -Camping -Walking around downtown -Water skiing, etc on the lakes -Minnesota State Fair (late Aug to early Sept), Valleyfair, Minnesota Zoo, Como Zoo, hunting in some of the greatest woods, Itasca State Park, Lake Superior(located in Duluth, MN), SPAM Museum(this is about Elvis and other musicians), Minnesota State Capitol, Underwater World, Chanhassen Dinner Theatres, Children's Museum, Wild Mountain Waterpark, Boundary Waters Canoe Area, Minnehaha Falls, Walker Art Center, Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, Minnesota Renainssance Festival, and Ice Skate -Minnesota Gopher hockey games (they're better than the Wild ones) -Ice fishing -Lots of shows downtown -Holidazzle Outdoor Parade (Dec) -St. Paul Carnival, Science Museum, Xcel Energy Center, and just enjoying the great outdoors! And there's always the Mall of America!!!

This depends on where you are staying in Minnesota. Minnesota has many museums and like attractions that are available for little to no money. Also if you are willing to make a drive, you can consider going to an amusement park or they're biggest attraction "The Mall of America."
There are many excellent colleges in Minnesota. Some of the best include Carleton college, University of Minnesota, Hamline college and Mayo medical school.
University of Minnesota is ranked highly. Also, Minnesota State, Macalester College, Hamline University, Carleton College and University of St. Thomas are good schools.
