What are some good vacation spots in Mexico?

Puerto Vallarta, is the top destination in mexico. Beautiful beaches, blue water, tropical rainforest... Puerto Vallarta has something to offer everyone. If you're into activity holidays, there is plenty to do here: scuba diving, snorkeling, jet skiing and even bungee jumping, among other activities. But Puerto Vallarta also attracts visitors with a more laid-back approach to life; there are plenty of beautiful beaches for lazing on with a drink in your hand. If you're interested in wildlife, you're spoilt for choice. Take a cruise around the Bay of Banderas and you'll see beautiful sea-birds, dolphins and turtles, and sometimes humpback whales too. The wildlife on land is even more stunning; with the proliferation of comfortable hotels and modern amenities, it's sometimes easy to forget that Puerto Vallarta is only 45 minutes' drive from the heart of the tropical rainforest. For this reason, there are plenty of eco-tours based in the town, and if you visit the rainforest you will see flora and fauna not to be seen anywhere else on earth. Some tours allow you to swing through the forest like Tarzan.

the best place to go in Mexico would be Puerta Vallata why you may ask well it's always sunny there you never have to were any winter cloths .and it has a beautiful Beach. but if you ever go there wacth out fot the crabs thay will pinch and by pinch i mean pinch really hard.

My personal favorite place in Mexico is the Yucatan Peninsula, specifically a little town named Akumal. Akumal is so small, quiet, and quaint- and it's right on the beach. In the Yucatan you can one day be climbing a 132 ft. Mayan pyramid, the next relaxing on a gorgeous beach, and then the next day zipping through the jungle on a zip line and snorkeling in the world's largest underground cave system. The Yucatan is also home to the world's 2nd largest coral reef-second only to the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. I recommend staying in the smaller cities like Akumal, Tulum, and the island of Cozumel, but larger cities like Merida and Cancun are nice too. Other things that you could do are: see historic churches, see baby sea turtles hatch and crawl into the water (if you go at the right time), snorkel in the ocean or at Yal-Ku lagoon in Akumal with sea turtles, sting rays, and exotic fish, and go to one of the many waterslides in Cancun. As you can see, there's plenty of variety for whatever you want to do. For me, going there was my favorite place I have ever traveled to.

Cancun is always a nice spot to go. It is on the Carribean coast so there's good weather and lots of beaches. But if you are interested in historical features then there is the chichen itza in Tulum.
