You may be able to predict what the teacher will ask if you compare your lecture notes with the same topic in your book. Usually there are 3 to 5 items that you can discuss. Memorize the list of items and, during the test, write them down before answering the question. Then, you can discuss them in order. This provides substance-and points-to your answer.

Start with a thought-provoking question to engage the reader's curiosity. Begin with a surprising statistic or fact that sets the tone for your essay. Share a relevant anecdote or story that draws in the reader and sets the scene for your topic. Use a powerful quote from a notable figure or source that encapsulates the essence of your essay.
You can start an essay about being a good citizen by introducing the concept of citizenship and its importance in society. You may want to include a brief definition of what it means to be a good citizen and why it matters. A good thesis statement is specific, clearly states the main point or argument of the paper, and is supported by evidence. It should also be concise and focused to guide the reader on what to expect in the rest of the essay.
Summarize the main points discussed in the essay, reflect on the significance of those points, and offer some final thoughts or insights on the topic.
its always good to restate the question in the first paragraph to answer it, it adds length and personally i think it looks smart. When I right an essay I like to do this as the first sentence. Say the essay question was your question. I would use "Some good words to use for the introduction sentence for an essay are restating the question as an answer." Also, you should state the points you're trying to (dis)prove in your essay. Summerize the purpose of the essay. When i write essays, I like to do the intro/conclusions after I write the body of the essay, because then I know exactly what I'm going to say at that point. Don't forget to restate your intro or if you have one a thesis statement in your conclusion. Good luck!!

It all depends on the question. You should cover the whole question and if that means you need to write a page then write a page. Essay question length depends on the question if the question has about five parts to it then you should have about five paragraphs but no matter what you should at least write about three or more paragraphs on all essay questions if possible, cuz i understand that some question may not be able to write that many questions but you should have more then one paragraph. I say about three or more, i've always done that and gotten good grades on my essays.
