Everyone has to make small gestures. Things such as;
* Buying organic foods instead of encouraging the use of pesticides * Eating local foods * Buy local products
* Riding a bike instead of a car * Carpooling, if you must use a car * Clean natural spaces around where you live * Close the lights that you don't use in the house * Use biodegradable soaps * Don't flush the toilet after every time you pee, especially if you live with a couple other people * Get some re-usable grocery bags - and use them! * Don't buy over-packaged food, buy in bulk instead! * Get a reusable coffee mug if you're a coffee drinker * Recycle * Compost * Grow your own fruits and vegetables in your backyard * Plant a tree
* Vote for the candidates who cares the most about the environment * Buy used clothing instead of new - give used clothing to charities instead of throwing them out. * Buy clothes made from natural and organic fibers * Eat less meat * Buy some land and care for it * Build an eco-friendly house * Boycott any companies that you feel are violating the earth, water, air, or the people
* Get informed - watch documentaries, read articles, get into conversations, etc...
Its easy, REDUCE REUSE RECYCLE. By taking the bus, walking or cycling we are reducing the amount of carbon dioxide that we put into the air by using the car. We could rinse out used water bottles and use them again, by doing this we are reusing them. We can recycle all of our plastic, card, paper, food waste, cans and much more! Even buying things with less packaging helps.
hope this helped. :)
