I am trying to lose a stone and a half before the 28th of may when I go to flamingo land and have already lost loads... only started a week ago. Here are effective ways that work for me:

Do about 75 minutes, going for a walk/jog.. every week increase the speed and length of which you go.

Check the labels on food and make sure you lose more than double the amount you eat in a day..

Do 600 star jumps a day

Do 1500 jogs on the spot a day

Make sure you stuff yourself with fruit and veg which have very low calories so you don't crave unhealthy food, other wise you will either become anorexic or put on weight... your choice.

OK here are some really good leg and tummy exercises:

Lie on your side, on a flat surface (the floor).. rest your head on your arm and put the other arm in front of you.. look down and move your legs so you can just see your toes..

lift the on top leg and keep for 10 seconds then put it down.. do 50 of these and then swap legs..

aim to do 100 of these on each leg a day, this one is really good for your thighs and calves.

Exercise number two:

get two heavy objects you can grip firmly onto

lie down with the objects in each hand

do sit ups without help from another part of your body and whilst you go up make swimming movements with your arms like you are pushing out.

aim to do 25 of these a day.. this one is really good for your tummy.

Exercise number 3:

do lunges whilst holding the weights and pushing your arms out in a swimming motion. try to do about 100 a day.

this exercise is really good for your arms, thighs and calves.

REMEMBER IT IS VERY IMPORTANT NOT TO STARVE YOURSELF AND YOU SHOULD DRINK AT LEAST A LITRE AND A HALF WATER EVERY DAY.

Try to cut down your daily calorie intake.

Some tablets that may help you, or not, are:

body energy bio. Also, if you want to push yourself to the max use electrolyes powder in your drinking water.

DO NOT STARVE.. MAKE SURE YOU DO ABOUT 1 AND A HALF HOURS EXERCISE A DAY AND KEEP HYDRATED!

The most 'popular' weight loss programs is not synonymous with the most effective. There is a lot of money in advertisement. Weight loss programs that have become very well known include Nutrisystem, Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers and the Atkins System. If any of these was a surefire way to lose weight they'd put all the others out of business. Losing weight will always be an individual matter and is going to require regular exercise and should be coupled with eating fresh food, staying away from processed foods as much as possible.
