What does Phi Alpha motto mean to Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity?

The meaning of Phi Alpha is perhaps the best kept secret in the world of fraternities. The only way to learn its meaning is to become a brother of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. Surf the web as much as you want, you wont find the true meaning of Phi Alpha. There is just to much to grasp and learn about. Some people just throw out random guesses. None are correct. It is just not possible to completely understand what Phi Alpha means. The eight founders of SAE "NNJJSWAT" made it near impossible for anyone to understand unless you are a brother and actually attend chapter, and go through pledgeship. Why do you think it is one of the best kept secrets in all of Greek Life. Cuz our founders made it difficult to understand Phi Alpha, you will never find out the complete meaning

Will there be a Alpha and omega 2?

There is no confirmed release date yet, and these outdated "It will probably come out in 2012 or the beginning of 2013" are getting annoying throughout the internet. They have delayed the production of Alpha and Omega 2 multiple times, so there is no guarantee, but there are several claims of it coming out as late as 2014, including a cut section from the Wikipedia page on the first film, which is most likely true, or it will be later, since Lionsgate still has not begun production of it in July 2013

Who are the sisters of kappa alpha psi?

The answer to this question totally depends on who you ask and which campus! Technically, the only fraternity that is constitutionally bound to a sorority are Phi Beta Sigma and Zeta Phi Beta...so they are truly "sisters" and "brothers" However, other organizations may claim to be sisters to fraternities. For example, some say that Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority are the Kappa's sisters (because they have the reputation of being "pretty girls" and Kappas are often referred to as "pretty boys") Some say that Sigma Gamma Rho are their sisters (both organizations have canes) Also, Krimson Kourts, Inc aka Kappa Sweethearts are said to be the sisters of Kappas. Their histories are intertwined and Kappas created Sweethearts so one may say Sweethearts are their true sisters. ******************************************************************** As a member of KAPPA ALPHA PSI, Inc. for over 30 yrs., We DO NOT have any sorority that we consider "fraternity-wide" as "sisters". There are/have been "clubs" that have associated themselves with the fraternity on a "local" basis (i.e. Kappa Kittens, Kappa Sweethearts, Kappa Kourt, etc.) The only recognized "female" organization that we recognize are "Kappa Silhouettes". A Silhouette is the WIFE of a KAPPA. Whatever the name of the organization (Kappa Kittens, Kappa Sweethearts, Kappa Kourt, etc.) these are organizations "associated" with the fraternity in various capacities, but as a separate and independent entity to support the fraternity in social, civic, and community activities.

Are religious rituals important for a true devotee?

It would depend which religion or organization you are referring to. In some religions, rituals are a mainstay or worship. For others, education, evangelizing, or meditation are more important. Some rituals are considered cherished traditions in sororities and fraternities. In certain closed organizations, intense rituals can be a part of initiation.

What are the sororities and fraternities at duke university?

The sororities and fraternities at UCLA change a lot! Many are gone each year and reestablish later. Many fraternities loose their recognition overnight due to a bad situation and their National pulls their charter. At this time the fraternities present are Sigma Nu, SAE, Sigma Chi ZBT, Pi Kappa Alpha, Delta Tau Delta, Beta Theta Pi, and Phi Psi. Tomorrow it may be a different situation. The sororities are more stable and have defined tiers. At this time the sororities are: Pi Beta Phi, Kappa Alpha Theta, Alpha Phi, Delta Gamma, Kappa Delta, Kappa kappa Gamma, Alpha Delta Pi, Chi Omega, and Delta Delta Delta. AEPhi, AXO, and Gamma Phi Beta have come and gone and come again.

Why did kappa alpha psi and phi beta sigma not join together?

There was never a connection. And there is no such letter from Diggs to Phi beta sigma asking them to join Kappa Alpha Psi. No sigma has seen such a letter nor members of Kappa Alpha Psi. There were two letters written one from Diggs to college men that were not organized explaining the orgins of Kappa, and another from a fraternity to Kappa asking to join, but nothing came of it. Yet, testimony to such a letter has persisted through the years and it appears evident through the annals of history that some form of communication did materialize between the fraternities of Kappa Alpha Psi and the Phi Beta Sigma. According to page 97 of a book entitied Black Greek-letter Organization in the Twenty-first Century the following historical account is noted: "It was at this time that the fraternity [Phi Beta Sigma] had another unique opportunity to expand. In a letter dated December 11, 1915, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity founder and Grand Polemarch Elder W. Diggs offered to merge Kappa Alpha Psi with Phi Beta Sigma. At the time, Kappa was establishing itself in the Midwest, while Sigma was expanding in the East and South. The fraternity's general board considered the proposal, but in a reply dated December 18, 1915, [Abram Langston] Taylor turned down the offer."
