When a member of a family is addicted to drugs, it can cause various emotional, financial and interpersonal issues within the family unit. The issues caused by addiction vary greatly depending on the intensity and longevity of the addiction, the socioeconomic background of the addict/family, and the role in which the addict plays within the family structure. For example, a primary caregiver or financial contributor (i.e. a father) being an addict will often host a very different set of issues within a family than, let's say, sixteen year old daughter/sibling may have. However, regardless of the role of the addict within the family, issues of addiction can be challenging and stressful for any family.
A prevalent issue within families where addiction affects a sibling/child is the inability of other siblings/children to receive the proper attention they need from parents in order to have successful developmental patterns. For example, the non-addict sibling may receive less positive attention or motivation because the parents are more acutely focused of the child that is addicted to drugs or alcohol.
Addicted siblings may cause a host of problems due to erratic behavior (screaming or arguing when it is not appropriate or being unnecessarily mean to other family members), unwarranted violent outbursts, stealing money or items to use to get drugs, and/or shutting out people close to them in order to hide their addiction. Furthermore, addicts can often develop other psychological conditions in response to long-term addiction such as paranoia, bi-polar disorder, anxiety disorder, amongst others. It is important to note that many addicts may already have a psychological disorder which can encourage addiction and drug use as a way to "self medicate".
If you or someone you love has a drug problem, it is important you contact a drug addiction specialist and seek out help. Drug addiction can potentially ruin lives, careers, marriages - and can even kill the addict.
Perhaps you still have some sibling issues that you need to work out?

For some people, they have had smaller families, and they know less about what it is like to have a sibling, aunts and uncles, and cousins. There could be some families that wanted a son to carry on the family name, but only had a daughter, and some families that may have wanted a daughter but had a son. For families outside China, perhaps some appreciate more their freedom to have a larger family.
Nooooooo, soldiers never take drugs because they don't need drugs. They are very males, true stallions, and needn't the help of any drug. Some soldiers, due to the pressures of war and the thought of their families, may become addicted to harmful drugs.
Families and politics have had intertwined relationships. Some families have the same views as the others on certain veiws, while some families will go to war just to prove they are right. It's wierd.
Legally, assuming duress was not used and the parent was of sound mind there is nothing the sibling can do who was cut out of the estate. Unless the disinherited sibling had some major character issues or had already borrowed his/her share of the estate prior; the sibling who has inherited the estate should split it. From personal experience with a spiteful relative I know this is the best course of action because: 1) It's the right thing to do. 2) The inheriting sibling wants a relationship with their sibling.
Some celebrities like Lindsay Lohan. She did drugs because of her family issues.
All depending on the person who is addicted they might abuse a pain clinic. Some people who have issues using drugs will do whatever they can to get drugs or relief for what they are going through.
Drugs usually have a physical addiction, which means if you don't have that drug, your body thinks it's not functioning properly. The addiction can make an individual do anything to get that drug. Some people would even kill their families to get money if they needed drugs.
