Halifax, Nova Scotia is a one of a kind unique place. I have been there many times, and every I am surprised by the accidental stupidity of the people. For example, I have been to a lake on several occasions just outside of halifax, I am always confused because the streets have names like this st, that st, and the other st. Another example of the stupidity is demonstrated by one of my friends that now lives in Halifax. He, along with many other people that now live in Nova Scotia came from Newfoundland. He told me about how his family, the Green's lived in a town called Green's Pond. Naturally, I assumed that this meant the Green Family lived on a pond, but he told me that in fact it was just a place where the Green's and the Pond's lived together. There was no pond. I worry about the future of this struggling place.
