There are almost 6 climatic regions divided by geographers.

1. Monsoon RegionThis region includes the areas lie between 5o to 30o on both sides of equator. During summer, winds blowing sea to land cause heavy rain in this region. 2. Mediterranean RegionThis region includes the areas lie between 30oN to 45o S latitude on the western side of continents. 3. Equatorial RegionThis region includes the areas lie between equator and latitudes 5o N to 5o S. It receives more sunlight then any other that's why it climate is Hot and receives heavy rainfall. 4.Temperate Grassland RegionThis region includes the areas of central part of all continents only in northern hemisphere. This region has extensive areas of grassland. 5. Tundra RegionThis region is spread over the area from extreme northern region of America to the extreme north of Eurasia and Polar region up to north pole. Tundra means treeless plains and you can say it "Cold Desert Region" 6. Hot Desert RegionThis region includes the areas lie between latitude 20o N and 30o S of Equator on the Western sides of the continents. It is the Hottest region of the world and receive extremely less rainfall.
