When eating, the Adults and Guests always eats first as the children serve the adults and the mothers and aunts (though most of the times are the older cousins or sisters) will be working in the kitchen to make sure the adults have all they need and that they are satisfied. Every Samoan (the Independant Samoa) HAS to go to church on Sunday. Well, as far as I know, the kids have no choice unless you want an adult give you the look or make you go. that's what I know and experienced when I was there.

Hawaiians celebrate by having a luau. A tradition is offering someone a lei by placing it on their neck. It is rude for the person to remove the lei in the view of others, especially the person that gave it to them.
