The new Kindle has brought an amazing shift to the previous products. The overall structure has changed significant ways, many would argue that the new keyboard is over sized and unnecessary for example. Other features include it's higher contrast screen, a slimmer, lighter design, longer battery life and faster page turns. The resolution has also changed since it's now 800x600 e-ink screen with unlimited free internet access. It's great for people who truly enjoy reading if they don't mind spending quite the amount of money.
The Kindle 2 became available for purchase on February 23, 2009.It features a better battery life (thank goodness); faster page refreshing; text-to-speech option (so that it can be read to you); and a smaller thickness and size for more portability. It appears that the Kindle 2 will take reading to a whole new level and beyond.
My kindle has internet as one of the features in development and I find that it can be slow and sometimes sluggish (and it once crashed my kindle and I had to reset it). Mine is a mark 2 kindle so whether it has been developed better in later editions, I do not know.
No, You can not watch movies on the kindle 2. However, you can on the Kindle Fire.
Yes. The Kindle Touch comes with a choice of games. Some free, some not. However, the Kindle Touch has much better games than the iPad 2. Like, the iPad 2 has Temple Run, witch is popular. The Kindle Touch has Running Away From The Dead. So much better than Temple Run. The Kindle Touch does have games.
Yes there is supposed to be a new Kindle Fire, but it probably won't be called Kindle Fire 2. It may have a new name. The latest rumors suggest there will be a 7 inch version and 9 inch version tablet available at different prices, before end of 2012.
Amazon's Kindle 2 is 0.5 inches taller than its predecessor. However, the Kindle 2 is slimmer than it's older sibling - 0.34 inches slimmer to be exact.
The kindle 2 was released February 2009.

No. There is no camera on the Kindle Fire. There are many other similar products like the iPad, iPad 2, the new iPad, & the Blackberry Playbook which have cameras. Many sources report that the new and updated Kindle Fire may have a camera.
You can buy a Kindle at Amazon. Since now they're selling the 3rd generation Kindle, you will only find used ones, so you can try other ecommerce sites as well, and compare the prices. Or get a new one.

My Kindle 2 has "assembled in China" written on it, in fine print. It doesn't say anything about the parts.
