Benefits of the University of Oregon?

When looking to continue their education, prospective students have hundreds of colleges, universities, and technical schools to choose from. One school, which draws in over 5,000 new undergraduate students each year, is the University of Oregon. Students that choose to head to the University of Oregon will receive many different benefits that may not be met by other schools that they are considering. One of the main advantages of going to the University of Oregon is that there are many different educational paths to choose from. One of the hardest decisions that a student has to make is picking a major. Those that do not know what they want to do prior to starting college would benefit greatly by being able to attend the University of Oregon. The University of Oregon is well known for having a very strong College of Business, College of Education, School of Architecture, and College of Arts and Sciences. Students have dozens of education concentration options to choose from. Those that attend the University of Oregon will also have a great lifestyle provided to them. The University or Oregon is well known for having one of the best student lives in the country. The school has excellent dorms, some very modern buildings and public spaces, plenty of parks and options for healthy recreational options, and some of the best athletics in the country. While there are clear advantages to going to the University of Oregon, there are some disadvantages. One key disadvantage is the cost. While a student that is from Oregon may be able to take advantage of in-state discounts, those that are not from Oregon will find that tuition and other costs are quite expensive for out of state students. However, the University does have an excellent financial aid office which could provide a variety of services for a student. Another disadvantage is that some class sizes are large. Unlike some smaller schools, many students will find that their entry level courses are taken by hundreds of students, which are then packed into auditoriums. However, while these class sizes are large, professors and teacher assistants are always available to answer any questions.

What GPA do you need to get accepted at youngstown state?

I had a 2.1 High School GPA and got in to Youngstown State. It is a good school, with quality academics. It is in the middle of an economically depressed city of about 90,000 people. If you are going for a good education only, it is a great university.
