Well you can moderate the amount that the person eats and have them get help psychologically since it is a eating disorder in the mind. rehab is probably the best place for a person with this problem as they can be closely monitored there.

Is there a residential treatment center that will accept patients with binge eating disorder?

Yes, there are some inpatient and residential treatment centers that include people with binge eating disorder in their programs. The fact that a person has an eating disorder doesn't necessarily guarantee the medical staff will consider residential care the best form of treatment for that individual, or that a bed will be available at any given time. Should you see a doctor about your binge eating disorder?

Eating disorders, such as binge eating disorder, have the potential to do harm to your body. If you feel your eating disorder is out of control, it is appropriate to see a doctor, specifically a psychiatrist who specializes in the treatment of eating disorders. This is important because while binge eating disorder itself does not pose the risk of grievous harm to the body other than weight gain, it is often caused by the more serious problem of anxiety or depression. Also, binge eating disorder can quickly escalate to bulimia, which is very harmful to the body and can result in death. However, if you are not comfortable with seeing a medical professional for your binge eating disorder, there are some support groups both online and in community centers that can help you overcome your eating disorder. This is a viable option if you have strong motivation to end your eating disorder, if your eating disorder is not overly out of control, and you have the personal strength to better yourself.

What does is mean if I am scared of getting fat but all I do is eat fat and all i want to do is starve myself and i have even found myself being jelous of children because of how small they are?

It could mean several things - 1) A binge eating disorder. The following is from the Mayo-Clinic website. Binge-eating disorder is a serious eating disorder in which you frequently consume unusually large amounts of food. Almost everyone overeats on occasion, such as having seconds or thirds of a holiday meal. But for some people, overeating crosses the line to binge-eating disorder and it becomes a regular occurrence, shrouded in secrecy. When you have binge-eating disorder, you may be deeply embarrassed about gorging and vow to stop. But you feel such a compulsion that you can't resist the urges and continue binge eating. Although binge-eating disorder is the most common of all eating disorders, it's still not considered a distinct psychiatric condition. But if you have binge-eating disorder symptoms, treatment can help you. 2) Hormonal imbalances that could lead to fatty-food cravings (high ghrelin). These hormonal balances could also cause some of the depression you feel when you consider how you look and the lengths you want to take to look better and the unrealistic standards you are holding yourself to. There is hope. It won't make you look better quickly, but it can help with the food cravings and slight depression and it is healthy and medically safe. B-Complex vitamins help control hormonal balances in the brain and they have actually helped me overcome over-eating, cravings, and depression. They also help boost the metabolism ;)
