One of the best books I've read is 'NLP at work' by Sue Knight which is primarily for workplace / business purposes but is a great over view. 'NLP for dummies' is another good all rounder. When you get a bit more experienced some of the books by Bandler and Grinder really are required reading. To learn more it is worth searching for local training providers who do a 'taster day' or weekend.
