You don't. You might. It all depends on what country you live in while going to school. If you are borrn and raised in China, you learn about Chinese history first. Only at more advanced school levels would you learn about any European history. United States schools sometimes teach some European history because some events in Europe had a major impace on life in the U.S.
They learn all the standard subjects like languages, maths, science, history, geography. Europe has over 50 countries, so some specifics will differ. People will learn the history and languages of their own countries for example, as well as some wider history of other countries.
Some of the most common things we learn at school is numeracy, (maths) literacy, history, geography, P.E, ICT, R.E and art.
That depends on the school they attend and the country it is in. Some will never learn another language while in school, and most may learn the basics of one or two. A few more will learn three or higher. As for the number of words, that will range between none and several hundreds, for the same reasons.

People like to go abroad for many different reasons. Some reasons are to learn new cultures, for vacations, and sometimes for school.
you wouldn't have to carry your heavy backpack. you wouldn't slip on ice in winter. you won't feel hot in summer or cold in winter. yuo can learn the road signs which can help when you learn to drive.
