Like an idiot I bought this bike instead of buying a real mountain bike. There's an actual warning on the bike that it should not be ridden off-road...It's a dang dual suspension mountain bike! It also completely junked out after 4 grueling rides on the trails. Here's my ride experience on trails:

1. It's heavy, I think its around 46lbs! So good luck on hills.

2. The gear system completely junked out after two rides.

3. The dual suspension is Awful, if you go over anything larger than a pebble the bike will bounce like a Basketball - this of course makes it Very hard to maneuver the bike. Make all the adjustments you want - it will not help.

4. The front fork started making these cracking sounds after my first ride, and could not be fixed.

5. Could luck steering this thing, its about as easy to maneuver through trails as riding a blind horse with 2 legs, on roller skates.

6. All the parts are junk and will fail within 6 rides most likely.

7. Embarrassment riding this thing when the gears get stuck and make a super cool noise that echos the trails, the bike wobbles like a kangaroo with epilepsy, and much more where everyone will laugh at you.

After a few (angry) rides, and feeling like a moron out on the trails with other people and their good bikes - I did what I should have done in the first place - which was buy a very nice (but very expensive) Trek Fuel Carbon and put on some Fox front and rear shocks and Hydrc disc breaks. Now I'm very happy on the trails and trying to forget the horrible experience that was "riding" this bike. And remember there's an actual warning on the bike that tells you not to ride this thing on anything worse than a fully paved road!! That's what you want in a dual suspension Mountain bike folks. DON'T BUY THIS THING!

How much is a 1969 Schwinn lowrider bike worth?

It depends on what you have. If it's just a springer and some 140 spoke rims, not much. Sadly, It's not the Schwinn part that makes a lowrider valuable, it's the parts. The quality of the parts, and the plating on the parts are extremely important. Design is the most important thing, but being on a Schwinn frame doesn't hurt though. Here's the deal though, you are never going to get out of your bike what you put into it. It's used. If you build custom for other people by order, then you can make some coin and build your rep as a customizer. Enter a few shows, show your product. Better yet, win a few and sell out big.
