Pros: Significantly improve a city's value, increase tourism, increase revenue, provide safe, fun, healthy, family-oriented environment for a very cheap cost, provides culture and world knowledge of animals to people who may never travel the world, provides fun education to today's youth, protect endangered species, allow animals to eat and sleep rather than starve in the wild.
Cons: Some people will say it hurts the animals.
Some zoos have goats but not all zoos.
At some Zoos they do.
some zoos do but most dont
Yes there are Emperor penguins in some zoos.
no they can not
Animals should not be kept in zoos because they need freedom. Imagine that we were an animal. Would we like to be kept in a zoo? Certainly not! seriously, even if they are dangerous animals, we still have to care for them!
i think some zoos in Africa or something like that
Some zoos are perhaps owned and operated by Jewish people, but Jews wouldn't have more or fewer zoos than other groups of people. Some zoos may be owned and operated by Christians, Muslims, Hindus etc., as well.
That's kind of a biased way of phrasing the question. Some animals in some zoos do begin to exhibit behavioral disorders. Good zoos work hard to provide the animals with a comfortable, engaging environment to minimize the chances of this happening, but not all zoos are good zoos and some animals are more sensitive than others.
the pros of a zoo is that many zoos cure animals with diseases or sicknesses. they also help care for orphaned animals until they are ready to go out in the wild on there own. some zoos also have breeding programs to try and save endangered species of animals.
Zoos are places of education and are even conserving endangered wild life species. They help endangered species reproduce. They give animals day to day attention and human interaction. Victoria Hollon fifth grade Nov,13, 2012
