Fenrir is a powerful wolf that is a son of Loki. In Ragnarok it killed Odin.
This would be a reference to Fenris - if it was a wolf instead of a unicorn.
Fenris Ulf is a character in C.S. Lewis's "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe." He is the chief of the White Witch's secret police and is a loyal servant to her. Fenris Ulf is a cruel and cunning wolf who is known for his devious and treacherous ways.

Fenrir - sometimes called Fenris Wolf - is a huge wolf from Norse mythology. He is one of Loki's sons, and is imprisoned by the gods - he bites off Tyr's hand while they are trying to chain him up. It has been foretold that Fenrir will kill Odin, but will then be killed by one of Odin's sons.
The wolf is the ancestor of the dog. This is what makes them the same. The only difference is that dogs are domesticated and breed for different breeds.
Fenris Ulf is a character in a book in called The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe by C.S Lewis. Fenris Ulf is a wolf in the story and is captain of the secret police for the white witch, who is the antagonist in the story. This, however, was only the name given to him in the American versions of the book. In the original version CS Lewis wrote, his name is Maugrim. Many things were changed in the American version. More recently though, the American versions were changed back to the original British version. Now if you pick up a copy of the book, it should say "Maugrim."

I can think offhand of several. Hephaestus/Vulcan from Greco-Roman mythology was lame. Hoder from Norse mythology was blind. Tyr (also from Norse mythology) was missing a hand (the Fenris Wolf bit it off).
Generally they are yes, but you can get waht's known as 'grey wolves' as white wolves instead. YOu find white wolves mainly in the arctic though
