As long as the female seems happy and healthy then there is no need to go to the vet - unless you want to be sure that she is pregnant. Bear in mind that some females have phantom or false pregnancies, where she shows all of the signs of being pregnant but does not give birth. Signs include the production of milk and typical mothering behaviour but the female never actually gives birth.
