Here are some phrasal verb with wear, possibly there are more:

wear out -- to become worn/old - My shoes are just about worn out, I need to get some new ones. - this is past tense.

wear off -- to become less - The anesthetic is wearing off now. - this is present contiuous.

wear down -- to become less - Cheap tires wear down too quick. - this is present simple.

wear in -- to become more comfortable - The shoes will feel better once you wear them in. - this is present simple.
