Here are some facts I know: huskies are medium sized dogs, I think they Wait is somewhere between 40-60 pounds, they have very thick fur coats and they are very heavy shedders, they say there coat can help them stand up to 75- degrees, they are very friendly and do not make good watch dogs, they are very full of energy and need Lot's of exercise, there eyes are usually blue, brown, or one of each, they might look like wolves, but they are not wolves or wolf hybrids, they do not bark very often but they do howl and make whinny noises, they like to dig a lot, they can be hard to train, but this is not because they are not smart, they are very smart dogs, but they are very stubborn, and they like to play rough. Alaskan Huskies are a working dog used for sled racing, they have a great endurance. Average weight size is 48 to 55 pounds for the male and 36 to 45 pounds for the female. I have a Husky and he had a sezure last week the doctor thinks it may have been and epeletic one ahe said his test showed his phosphate and calicium was high we checked all his food and treats and found the highest count on the calicium was 1%in one of his cookie treats I have been going crazy here trying to figure it all out and have put him on a Pro Plan diet food he was eating half a can of Beniful in the a.m. and the other half at his dinner time do you have any suggestion's for me?
