Firstly, be wary of websites that offer minecraft "for free." Unless the website is the official one, don't believe them as the version you get will most likely come bundled with a virus. The free version provided by Mojang (the makers of Minecraft) is called "Minecreft Classic." This version is a very early version of the game which only contains limited building aspects of the full game's Creative Mode. The demo version of Minecraft is identical to the full version, with one restriction: Each world you create can only be played for five in-game days, or 100 minutes.

Because there are an uncountable amount of free downloads for Minecraft, it is impossible to know whether or not a specific download is infected with a virus, torjan, worm, or other harmful spyware.
There might be a mod. but I know you can play Minecraft Classic. It's outdated but free. You get unlimited blocks. You don't get the good stuff though. like Monsters, Lives, Animals, Crafting. But great for building things like megastructures Hope this helped
I don't really know but i think that is piracy…so I wouldn't do it
Mo Creatures is free. If you didn't know that, you have a bit of learning to do before you attempt to install a mod.
