Some threats to our rainforests are; deforestation (the removal of trees for resources or to make way for buildings), pollution and global warming. :)(:

Some Temperate Rainforests are protected. Temperate Rainforests in the United States, South Africa, Japan, and Australia are in national and state parks. Other rainforests are not in national parks (to my knowledge); however, that does not mean that they don't have some form of protection.

Atacama desert has some threats such as mining, pollution, and plant collection.
There are a great many threats to the temperate deciduous forest. Deforestation and clearing for farming are major threats.
