Tough questions come from opponents not friends. Visit the many atheist sites and blogs. See Link for example.

Some questions that appear to be tough actually have plausible answers. The problem with this is: Does the questioner have the same mind frame as the person being questioned. The Scripture says: "But the natural man (non-believer) receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned." 1 Corinthians 2:14. In other words, the person who doesn't trust Christ as their Savior, doesn't have the Holy Spirit to guide the in spiritual matters.

The best thing for Christians and missionaries to do with "tough questions" is to point the inquirer to the Word of God, for God had said: "For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." Isiah 55:10,11.

A question might be: "Since scientific facts supports evolution, why do Christians insist that we've been created?" It needs to be pointed out that there are what The Bible calls false science: "O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called." 1 Timothy 6:20. Scientific procedure is very strict, and there are rigorous requirements to declaring something fact, if it is genuine science.

The Scripture tells us: " In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." Genesis 1:1. After declaring that God created all other things, it says: "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness..." Genesis1:26. When Jesus was questioned on marriage and divorce, in part of His answer He stated: "But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female." Mark 10:6. It is up to the individual to thus answer the question, whether he believes what some scientist are saying (while there are reputable scientists that support creation) or to believe what Christ and the Scripture say.

Today there are secular scientists who are examining the intricacies of the DNA molecule and are saying that this could not have just appeared on it's own, nor evolved by random choice. For a Christian to answer such questions, it is good to be up on the latest discoveries, but it is essential that he knows the Scripture well to be able to give an answer to what seems to be a "tough question" in our world.

How long was it until the "scripture" was actually composed on canvas? hundreds of years? Have you ever played the game telephone? After 30 seconds a single sentence becomes completely distorted. Only empirical data that is collected on the spot in written form or other variations of valid and reliable data shall be trusted. Not ancient old oral tales. Developed nations should not be so naive. It's a shame. Religion is no longer a productive tool. It is counterproductive. The same goes with capitalism. Let it go. It's time for change. History shall not repeat itself.

What countries do missionaries work in?

Missionaries are sent all over the world for various reasons. Some missionaries are known as medical missionaries. These are doctors, pharmacists, or nurses that go overseas and use medical experience to help out in other countries. Other types of missionaries are Religious Missionaries, Sports Missionaries, and many others. These are fairly self-explanatory. Missionary's work everywhere.

Who are the missionary who visit are country?

I don't know what country you are in, but most missionaries are either Christian or Muslim. There are Christians of all kinds-- Catholics, Lutherans, Mormons, Baptists, etc-- who send their members to various countries. Muslims have also sent out people to teach about Islam and spread the Muslim faith to other countries. Missionaries usually are there to teach you about their religion, in the hope that you will convert to it. Some missionaries also set up houses of worship (whether churches or mosques), so that you will have a place to practice your new faith. Missionaries believe that they are supposed to spread their faith; for example, Christian missionaries believe Jesus himself instructed them to do so. Most missionaries sincerely believe their religion is the only one that has the truth, so they want to share it with those who may not know much about it. Some religions do not send out missionaries. There are very few Buddhist missionaries these days (although there were some in the generation after the Buddha died; those missionaries spread Buddhism to a number of Asian countries). And Jews do not send out missionaries at all, because Jews do not believe they have the only true religion, nor do they believe they are supposed to actively try to convert people. As with Buddhism, centuries ago, some Jews did send out people to teach about Judaism, but this is not a part of modern Jewish practice. (People can and do convert to religions like Buddhism and Judaism. But these faiths do not have an organized group of people who go out to persuade you to join their religion.) Thus, given that the majority of today's missionaries are Christian or Muslim, the chances are good that the missionaries you met were from some denomination of Christianity, or possibly from Islam.
