Some useful chemical changes are when a solid changes into a liquid. Such as when ice melts it is turned into water.
Sorry but I am afraid that is wrong.
Freezing, melting and evaporation including sublimation, i.e., Changes of State, are all physical, not chemical, changes.
As for "useful" chemical changes.... Almost all biological processes, the conversion of fuel to its oxides etc with consequent release of heat &/or light, the list goes on!
making cake
yes some chemical reactions are harmful to us. as digestion of food, photosynthesis, decomposition of organic waste are some examples of the useful chemical reactions.

Chemical change is useful because when it occurs, some desirable outcomes such as combustion occurs. Some reactions give off heat energy. Heat packs work by allowing certain chemicals to mix and give off heat.
Depends on what you mean by "bad". In your apple or on your bicycle, oxidation is a bad chemical change, but maybe you like brown mushy apples or are creating some art project that you happen to need a rusted bicycle for. The same is true for every chemical change. In some situations its good, useful, or generally what you want. And other times, not so much.
CHEMICAL:)
The color change, though physical by itself, is caused by a chemical change of some colored substances in cabbage.
yes it is a chemical change as some part of the axe gets removed
some chemical reaction can.
A characteristic of a chemical change is a change in odor. Another characteristic is a change in the temperature. Another characteristic is the creation of a precipitate. Those are just some characteristics.
It is a chemical change because some compounds from bread are thermally decomposed.
