i say you can go to the parade and visit them
you can go to the white house for his birthday
We honor our veterans many ways some of them are veterans day and others are much more simple. I myself go up to them and personally thank them for doing everything that they can to keep us free. Another way is by volunteering in places that help our Vets. They have been there for us in the good times and the bad and we need to do more than what we do as a whole. * Fly a flag, visit a cemetery, visit a war memorial or attend a parade.
There are many ways we can honor Dr. King's memory, like observing his birthday, but the best way we can honor him individually and as a society is to treat everyone equally.
American casualties and veterans to the Vietnam War (1959-1975) have been honored across many levels. Community recognition has involved local parades and wreath laying ceremonies. Local and national recognition has come from the construction of monuments and roads. The Vietnam Memorial in Washington, DC is a chief example of this honor.
There are any number of ways to honor our veterans. You can do it simply by placing a flag outside your home on national holidays like the 4th of July, Memorial Day, Veterans Day, etc. But you can also do it in a more personal way by visiting any of the many memorials to veterans around the country. Obviously, Washington, DC, has a large number of memorials honoring veterans, like the new WWll Memorial, the Korean War Memorial, and one of the more famous, the Vietnam Memorial, also known as "The Wall." Finally, I personally think the best way to honor a veteran is to walk up to him or her and simply say, "Thank you for your service to our country." (and thanks for asking the question...)
they give special thanks and honor or sacrificing their lives to protect our country we also send letters or cards to them if theyre away during that holiday we also salute to the veterans as they salute to the American flag veterans that came home with their families were mostly welcomed and sometimes throws a party for their return we also give gifts to our veterans that return home
Remembering veterans is a way to honor the people in the military for what they have done and are doing and the sacrifices they have made, including their lives, to ensure our way of life. Veterans are very important people and I think they should be honored in numerous ways. Veterans should be honored because they once dedicated themselves into doing a noble act. The ultimate sacrifice that was given by few veterans to benefit the many people of the United States of America was provided by many years in ghastly wars and battles. Put the politics aside and just consider the soldier who doesn't make much money, get much time off, or is away from his family months at a time but still, people in the military have a fundamental belief they are protectors of our country. Veterans put their lives at peril because they wanted to fight for their nation's freedom. Instead of sitting down on a snug armchair with a soft robe on sipping tea, they go out and fight for what's right. Veterans sacrificed the time spent with their family because they go out to battle other troops, not being able to be in the same room as their loved ones. Veterans contributed their efforts to make the U.S safe, even though they could have passed away at any second.

There is only one correct spelling of that word: honor
It can go both ways. ***************************************************************** "A honor" is awkward to pronounce, therefore "An honor" is correct. The two words are elided (slurred over to aid in the pronunciation.)
In a society where Honor and Loyalty are premier virtues, it demanded and received an oath of loyalty to the Fueher. Once given, such an oath by a man of honor was impossible to rescind.
they do it by showing how to stand up for themselves
