==Answer== Initially, the Associates in Applied Science (AAS) was designed to be a terminal degree, giving an individual all the expertise necessary to enter the work force in entry level positions. The degree was not designed with transfer in mind. However, today many of these degrees are fully transferable to a four year college or university for higher education. How easily or difficult your program of study is in transfer will depend on what your AAS is in. Check with the Transfer Counselor at the school you received your AAS from. Ask what articulations the school has with other four year colleges and universities. He/she should be able to appropriately direct you. Do not give up on this. The higher the degree, the more marketable you will be. Viper1
