The Earth can be compared to an apple - the Earth's crustin comparison to Earth is as thin as is the outer covering of an apple compared to an apple. It is made up of parts like a human skull and the float/buoy over the inner molten magma so the parts called tectonic plates can slide when the collide at 180 degrees mountains are formed. As and when some interlock is there, the plates keep on applying sliding or pulling or pushing force and when the force becomes large enough the interlock gives away and a shock wave called earthquake is generated which can also be associated with exlpulsion of magma called volcanic eruption
If you mean after an earthquake?
Well This is how you should:
1) Stop get on your hands and knees and go under a desk of table and hold onto the legs.
2) After the earthquake check for and damage on you and then family after you get outside to a place you and your family have planed to meet at
3) Get yourself there and wait for you family.
4)If anything has made an escape to get out then wait for a offfical to get you out.
5) If in a car then pull over and put on the parking break and wait for the earthquake to be over, if anything falls on your car you are too stop what you are too wait till someone get it off of your car.
6)Everything will be over.
Firstly the inital P wave (primary wave) hits, then the S wave (secondary wave) hits and lastly the surface/love wave will hit xx
because of heat is goes up
go to a near by desk and put ur head down
describe how an may occur
Tectonic Plates, Volcano eruption, tsunami, and thats all i can think of soz ....
a tsunami is a result of an earthquake in the ocean
An earthquake's Focus is located directly under the Epicenter of an earthquake. The Epicenterof an earthquake is located on the surface of the earthquake.
earthquake
The Chile Earthquake in February was the biggest earthquake reported in 2010.
what are the steps to prevent earthquake
The four steps leading to an earthquake include the movement of tectonic plates and pressure developing over a long period at its boundary. Then the convection heat builds at the asthenosphere, and there is a sudden release of accumulated pressure from tectonic boundaries.
It's drop, cover and hold on.

1) you have to go under something like a matress 2) you have to have foood 3) you have to go to your car and listen to the radio 4) then you stay 200 300 miles away from the earthquake
Seriously reporting this in abuse.... screw you people man omg.... sorry i been seeing to many of these
well yes u can u can escape from an earthquake don't go to a buliding or stay home run cuz Allah is with u run 7 steps and then if u die doesn't matter cuz Allah will safe u!!!!!!!
yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo :-)
"The ground shook like a giantβs footsteps": This is a simile comparing the earthquake's intensity to the heavy steps of a giant. "The city trembled in fear": Personification is used here to give the city human-like emotions of fear in response to the earthquake. "Buildings crumbled like sandcastles": This is a simile comparing the way buildings collapsed during the earthquake to how easily sandcastles can be destroyed on the beach.

Well FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) recommends that youStay as safe as possible during an earthquake. Be aware that some earthquakes are actually foreshocks and a larger earthquake might occur. Minimize your movements to a few steps to a nearby safe place and stay indoors until the shaking has stopped and you are sure exiting is safe. For more information see related links.
