You may be having an allergic reaction to the ink because ink poisoning is impossible with tattoo ink (save for glow in the dark and UV reactive). All tattoo inks are inert and will not poison you. Allergic reactions however are fairly common.

∙ 12y agoThe symptoms of "ink poisoning" are endless due to the fact that most "ink" or pigment can be derived from anything; vegetable pigment, metal salts, plastics etc....The question you should ask is what are your symptoms. You can have an allergic reaction to any of the aforementioned or your artist may not have been as clean as you thought and now you have an infection. If you are having symptoms such as vomiting, sweating, severe swelling, etc...(FLU LIKE SYMPTOMS), GO SEE A DOCTOR.
