Lumps under the skin on the torso, arms, hands, back that can become hot and painful. They may differ in size and not all give trouble. My husband has had 12 removed of differing size, and they appear as "capsules" of fat or fibrous tissue. The two on his back were deep under the skin and he required 50 stitches, but he now has relief from the pain they caused. It seems, unfortunately, that when you think you have them under control, more erupt. He has several in his hands, but they are giving him no trouble to date to speak of. The ones in his stomach area made him physically sick, but once removed, relief was fast.
