* Food becomes a form of comfort to help with depression and feelings.
* Usually results in the person being overweight or obese. Some may be of normal weight if they go through periods of 'binge-free' days.
It is rare to find someone who is over nutritious on all diets. One can be over-nutritious on a particular diet namely; protein, fiber, vitamins, dairy products and others. Symptoms of this usually show off either as an allergy of that particular diet or rather one gets a reaction to it.
For instance some people become allergic to say eggs or protein after consuming it continuously or their bodies being resistant to it which normally shows off as swelling of the whole body or face and hands. Others would suffer intestinal problems like constipation due to over consumption of fiber which means their bodies can't take any more.
Smoking, lack of exercise, and overeating are activities that contribute to cardiovascular disease. Excess alcohol consumption can also lead to Heart disease.
Relapse is the medical term meaning the return of symptoms of disease. For instance, some people with multiple sclerosis have a relapsing/remitting pattern of disease, with periods of symptoms interspersed with periods of no symptoms.
