Low voltage circuits are any circuits under 30 volts, usually 24 volts. 24 volt circuits are usually control circuits. The amount of current in these systems is usually small, under 5 amps.

Since the voltage and amperage is very low, wiring can be much smaller and therefore much cheaper to install than "line" voltage wiring. Low voltage is also much safer.

How do you hook up a 12 volt battery charger to a 24 volt system?

Separate the 2 12 volt batteries and charge them individually.

How do you get 24 volts from 2 batteries not in series?

Two 24 volt batteries in parallel will give you 24 volts. The only other way is two 12 volt batteries in series.

How many watts does a 12 volt water pump use?

Voltage of the pump (12) multiplied by the current draw = the watts used. This would be 12 watts if the current was 1 amp, 24 watts if the current is 2 amps, and 36 watts if the current is 3 amps, and so on...

How many watts does my 12 volt 2 amp battery charger draw?

Volts * Amps = Watts 12 Volt * 2 amp = 24 Watts

the ford is a 12 volt system it has 2 batteries to help in starting . but it is a 12 volt system

How to hook a 24 volt trolling motor to 2 12 volt batteries?

You would need to connect the two 12 volt batteries in series. That will give you 24 volts and the amps of one of the batteries. Voltage doubles and amps stay the same.

How do you convert 24 volt trailer lights to 12 volt?

All you have to do is change the bulbs to 12 volts and supply the trailer with a 12 volt power source. If you leave the original 24 volt bulb in the trailer they will only glow at 1/2 of their rated wattage.

How do you hook up 2 12 volt batteries to get 24 volt?

Hook then up in Series. Positive to negative. You then have 24 volts but the same amperage of one individual battery.that will short out other battery

What is the current in a 12-volt circuit with a 6-ohm resistor connected series?

2 A (amperes)

How can you use three 12 volt batteries to make 24 volts?

You only need 2 12 volt batteries to get 24 volts. Join the negative post on one battery to the positive post on the other battery with a cable then connect the remaining positive and negative posts to the vehicle that has a 24 volt system.

Two 12 volt batteries in series one has 4 amp's another has 4 amp's they are connected across a 2 ohm load the current flowing in the circuit is?

Volts = Current x Resistance. You have 24 Volts divided by 2 ohms and the draw will be 12 amps. Your batteries will fail quickly if not spectacularly.
