A 2-valved Trumpet is actually a type of bugle. The purpose is the same as that on a normal trumpet. The only difference is that you can play fewer notes on the two valved instrument, but more than on a traditional bugle.
There are a couple notes that the first two valves on the trumpet can be. You can play A, E, and C#.
Piston and rotary. Piston valves (like on most trumpets, cornets, and euphoniums) move up and down, and rotary valves (found on F horns and some tubas) rotate.
D above middle C is valves 1 and 3 D above top C is valve 2
They change the notes.
woodwind, brass, strings, percussion
The only common thing between all brass instruments are that they are made of at least half brass and they all need a mouth piece. There is also the same breathing techniques, though they can differ. For example, the theory that everything that is played is a long tone. Please note that I am not counting woodwind instruments, like saxophone, as brass instruments. If I did so there would be nothing in common with all brass instruments. I hope this helped!
The most common low brass instruments are: 1. Trombone (bass trombone is lower than tenor trombone) 2. Euphonium & baritone horn 3. Tuba
1. Strings 2. Brass 3. Wood winds 4. Percussion glad to help 8)
There's a small trumpet called a piccolo trumpet which sounds one octave higher than a regular trumpet, and nearly always has four valves to aid in fast fingering. One is used for the famous song Penny Lane by the Beatles. It has a great ability to sound clear and bright above the midrange instruments and voices. If there's any other brass instrument that's even higher in range, it's something rare, experimental or a novelty.

There are 2 different types of valves on the 5.7 L vortex engine. Both the exhaust and fuel injection valves can be adjusted by turning the adjustment screws.

brass is a soft metal and is used to hit metal. a brass hammer is made to not damage the material. But instead damage the hammerANS 2 -Brass hammers are used for things like knocking bearings into place in the seat, moving easily damaged parts on a gear rod, and similar things where a steel hammer would cause damage.
The sound is produced by blowing air against a hard surface. For example, clarinets, saxophones, oboes, and bassoons have reeds, typically made of wood, which vibrate and produce sound. Flutes and piccolos produce sound when air is blown across an edge. Woodwinds are different from brass instruments (such as trumpets, trombones, and tubas) which rely on the vibrations of a player's lips to produce sound. The definition has almost nothing to do with the materials "wood" or "brass," because some woodwinds are made of brass (like a saxophone) and some brass instruments are wooden (like an alphorn).

Brass is a rust-resistant metal compound that was relatively easily and inexpensively obtained by our ancestors, polishes easily, is malleable and has interesting musical properties at various thicknesses. Brass is comparatively light-weight compared to the other metals historically available. It should be noted that in modern times saxophones have been made of other materials, namely fiberglass. These instruments do not have the same tonal qualities as brass saxophones, and so are not widely used for anything other than training.
'con sordino' literally means 'with mute.' Any stringed instrument, certain brass and woodwinds, and certain percussion instruments, including the piano, can be played con sordino.
The different classification of instruments are: Wind Instruments, e.g. saxophone, flute, clarinet, etc; Percussions and drums, e.g. clef, cymbals, brass, konga; etc; Electrical Instruments, e.g. Keyboards; String Instruments, e.g. Guitars, violin, cello, viola, etc; Brass Instruments, e.g. trumpet, trombone, tuba, etc.
