There are no volcanoes in Texas idiot
There are about 5 volcanoes in Texas 1. Pilot Knob (Austin Texas) 2. the Paisano Volcano (Fort Davis) 3. Burro Mesa (Big Bend national park) 4. Sierra Quemada (Big Bend national park) 5. Buckhorn Caldera (Fort Davis) The Paisano volcano is actually in between Marfa and Alpine, Texas. Fort Davis is in that area, but off in another direction (more North). I used to live in Marfa and would pass the inactive volcano on the way into Alpine. Both are extremely small cities.
There are three. From smallest to largest, they are: Cinder Cones, Composite Volcanoes (also called Strata Volcanoes), and then Shield Volcanoes.
yes near Raton, N.M. just a few miles away
I am trying to find out also. I know there is one outside of Denton on I35w. A friend said she has found it on the net. Will check back when I find it.
No volcanoes in Texas.

There're a lot of volcanoes in Antarctica and the "Ring of Fire", most volcanoes are at the "Ring of Fire" since the Ring of Fire is just like a ring and it's not all connected together. The middle of the tectonic plates may have earthquakes, volcanoes... Like if you live in Japen, there're a lot of volcanoes in Japen and since it's close to the Ring of Fire, it may have earthquakes. If you live in somewhere around Texas, there will never have an earthquake or have a volcano in Texas since Texas is very far away from the tectonic plate, and the volcanoes are mostly in California.
no volcanos are located in the ring of fire texas is not in it. __ Not all volcanoes are in the Ring of Fire. That specifically refers to the Pacific basin. There are a number of volcanoes outside the Ring. However, Texas has not seen volcano activity in millions of years.
