There are three types of fascia which surround muscles. They are named for how 'deep' they are and how much of a muscle they surround. They are: Endomysium, which surrounds ONE muscle fiber Perimysium, which surrounds a BUNDLE of muscle fibers and Epimysium, a sheet of fascia which covers the ENTIRE muscle.
