You need to start Windows using a boot disk that loads basic files. Your PC should check the CD drive for necessary files before checking the hard drive. Use an original XP installation disk.
Your disk is not reading few files properly
You have to first download the files from Gmail. You can put them anywhere on your hard disk. Then you can burn them to disk.
Primary partitions are the only type of basic disk partitions designed tostore fi les that are used to load an operating system
When prompted to format the floppy disk, click NO. Especially if the disk has files that you wish to access. Formatting the disk erases EVERYTHING on the disk and starts the disk anew.
What this means is that the device the disk was inserted in is setting up the format of the disk to match the operating system of the device so that it's compatible with the device's recording methods. When it's done recording it'll also most likely `finalize the disk' which is to say, close the files so that the disk is properly completed and the files can't be written over until you command the software to erase the disk for re-use.
They are called FRAGMENTED files
if disk is able to read rest of the files then disk is good but there is some problem in that files which are not readable. do one thing just try to copy those files and paste it any location and try to open it . if it is unble then sure that those files are corrupt.
WinImage or Undisker for image files IsoBuser for Iso files
you copy all the original files to a another hard disk or flash drive before formatting the disk with the original files
A fragmented disk contains temporary Internet files and unused program files that need to be deleted.YOLO
Because unused files accumulate space on hard disk and also causes fragmentation of hard disk.
