ICT (Information and Communication Technology) has effects each and every aspects of our lives. It is used every where in this world from our kitchen to markets, from small schools to major industries. It is used in hospitals, transport, research laboratories etc.

For example in homes it is used in electronic microwave ovens, ACs, digital clocks, claculators, washing machines.

In scchools it is used in database management, CBT (Computer Base Training)

In offices its used in Management Information System

In shops at POS (Point of Sale) Terminals and stock management

In hospitals in opertion theatres, diagnosis laboratories, ultrasound, ct scan etc.
