there is no full scientific review on any long term hazards but there is evedince that in the long term it can cause problem related to the radiation it transmits but it is nothing scientifically proven with knowledge of it as a problem.
in the short term if you configure your phone to have a loud answering volume then that could damage your ears and contrast on the phone can irritate eyes and holding a phone for a long time everyday can cause thumb to feel tired
all in all nothing very serious.
But people have been known to develop arthritis due to excessive exposure to texting.
