I only know of three. Observing, measuring and comparing and contrasting.
There are many skills used in different sciences you will need to be more precise.
there are many different skills in science. (There are only nine science skills that I know:)
These are:
Observing
Identifying
Classifying
Measuring
Infering
Predicting
Analyzing
Synthesizing
Formulating
A researcher needs personal and inate skills of the ability seek and find, be fiilled with determination, be smart and intuitive (does not have to be a genius), knows how to get down the right trail and gather the correct facts, be able to discern then put information together in a concise and understandable manner and to communicate orally and in writing. A researcher must love to explore, find and reveal. His or her determination will lead him to others who know information he or she needs. It's not just a matter of being schooled and having superior knowledge, but knowing how, where, when, why, and who to gather information from and how to put it all together to present to others well.
A researcher must have great computer skills, library skills, skills in a subject if he is a specialist researcher, a fine grasp of his or her language (unbelievable how many people cannot spell or structure sentences and paragraphs), a decent understanding of statistics if needed in the subject, math skills can help, a good grasp of history and a global understanding of how the world works. A willingness not to be really rich because you do not get exceptionally rich being a researcher
You need a college education, preferably at masters level. You can't be a researcher right out of high school in the United States unless you are better educated than the average high school graduate and bachelors level educated graduate. If you go to a college with exceptional teaching and you are an exceptional learner you could be a researcher with a bachelor's level education, you should get a master's degree because you could be working for people with Ph.D's.
See a school counselor if you are interested in being a researcher and discuss any specialty field you would like to do research in. An employment counselor can help too.
Logical thinking , at the same time ignoring logics ,constient , persual after failure, acceptance of ignorance
academic ability, especially in maths and science, ability to visualise objects in three dimensions, imagination etc.

Some of the skills needed by scientists include the ability to classify items, especially living things, communication, taking accurate measurements with the correct equipment, and creating models. Additional skills are observation, comparing and contrasting, and collecting and organizing data.
The seven science process skills that scientists use are classifying, observing, measuring, inferring and predicting, communicating, and experimenting. Those are the seven science process skills scientists use
The four macro skills in language learning are listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Listening involves understanding spoken language. Speaking involves producing spoken language. Reading involves understanding written language. Writing involves producing written language.
The Answer for it is Astronauts, Computer Scientists, Food Scientists, and Materials Scientists.

The four macro skills are associated with learning any language. These four macro skills are speaking, listening, writing, and reading.
The Four Communication Skills are Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening. Each of this skills are used daily, although some more than others: Writing (9%), reading (16%), Listening (45%) and Speaking (30%). Learners of a new language need to use all four skills in each lesson followed up with lots of review.
Scientists are the same as any other human person and as such, the ability to float depends on their swimming skills.
