What are the Effects of destroying forests?

The animals dont have places to live when the trees are gone.When the trees are gone the herbivores will not be able to eat and with that the carnivores will not eat so they will have to go to human resources.Also since trees are part of the carbon cycle if there are less trees less carbon gets recycled and the air gets polluted.
