Well, limes are used to flavor many different types of food and drink. I have never personally used a lime to flavor soil, but I would assume it would give the soil a citrus flavor. The disadvantage would be that while the soil would have a nice citrus flavor the overall flavor would not be appealling to many people.
Nuclear weapons testing can have negative impacts on the environment. They can make plants, soil and rain radioactive. This is extremely harmful to humans. Radioactivity can cause mutations in humans and animals.
Less stability in the root system, as far as the plant actually being able to keep itself from toppling over. Naturally , really small plants would have no problem with this. Sandy soil also drains water and food away from the plant faster than it can be absorbed. Answer The main problem in sandy soil is the lack of humus content, thisdoes not allow the retention of moisture and fertiliser is liable to leach out before the plants can utilise it.
the advantages to inorganic fertilizers is that it makes the plant grow bigger and faster than organic. But the disadvantage is that it might kill the plant. Inorganic fertilizers have a lot more nitrogen so can boost the plants growth a lot. But part of that is in the form of ammonia, and if you've ever experienced ammonia, you will realize that if it builds up in the soil it will sterilize the soil, in which case there will be no way for organic fertilizers to get into the food chain of the plant, so you're then stuck with more inorganic fertilizer, and so on. Also, inorganic fertilizer can sometimes push the plant into too much growth at the wrong time, like folks who want a nice green lawn when the grass should be shutting itself down and preparing for either winter or the dry season, rather than putting out new leaves to get killed.
soil- Clayey soil, sandy soil, and loamy soil rock-metamorphic rock, instrusive/extrusive rock, sediments
When soil is washed away by water and wind,it's called soil erosion. It usually happens at hills with not many trees. If there are many trees, the roots will hold the soil firmly so there will be a lesser chance of soil erosion to occur.
yes
Advantages: fertile soil Disadvantages: floods
its called floculation - adding lime decreases acidity
it turns it more alkaline
advantages of soil stabilization by waste plastic fiber.
Lime in soil helps reduce the acidity of the soil. The PH of the soil should be checked before adding lime to it. Some plants that like lime added to the soil are sunflower, carnations, poppy, and sumac to name a few.

The disadvantages of red soil are- (i) The red soil is thin, poor, porous and has loose gravel. (ii) And it is also poor in lime, phosphate, nitrogen and humus.
Altering the soil pH is the effect of adding lime to fertilizer.Specifically, lime acts to acidify the soil that is being fertilized. A more acidic soil comes up with a more acidic pH in soil analysis. Acidic pHs fall below the middle, neutral range on a 1-14 pH scale.
TO INCREASE SHEAR STRENGTH OF THE SOIL
Neutralize soil and causes corrosion
Roses only need lime if the soil they are planted in is too acidic. Roses grow best in soil that displays pH levels of between 5.5 to 7.0. If levels are lower then this amount, adding lime can help boost the pH.
