mixed, kids need to learn to socialise with both sexes from as early an age as possible and gender discrimination is only amplified by this sort of segregation. In addition, its more fun, give kids the opportunity to flirt with or tease the boy or girl next to them. Allow them to laugh and feel excited, after all what else is life for if not to enjoy it ;)
