all i can think of is - profit and if you're an employee you are always in on the know about changes etc. But i also need a better answer than this for my GCSE business exam! please help? You can also consider the fact that the share market is pretty easy to invest in. If you're considering making an investment, and trying to decide where to invest, shares are easier than other assets, like property, because they are easy to buy/sell and are easily divisible. If you invest in property, there are huge transaction costs and the asset can be hard to sell. Shares can be sold in a matter of seconds on the internet, and you can just sell half of them if you're in need of fast cash. It is also possible, at a time to participate in the fuctioning of the company, to vote and select and also remove the Directors.
