The advantages of using plant cuttings is that it is cheap and easy all it would cost you is the cost of the plant you like and the price of rooting powder which acts as a hormone to the plant and in 1-2 weeks you cutting would start growing. Disadvantages is when you have cut the part of the plant and dipped it in to rooting powder the cutting would need a lot of attention with water and light.

this is all wrong tbh lmao ^

Advantages:

-Faster growing times (Don't have to wait for a seed to mature, the plant begins matured)

-If one plant is good, you can get crops of quality plants that you like

-It's easy, very easy...After some experience you can probably get about an 80% success rate.

-You don't have to germinate seeds, which is more risky, and seeds are expensive depending on what you growing

Disadvantages:

-You have to keep one or more 'mother' plants which can usually last indefinitely, but requires all the treatment of a normal plant. (To cut branches from)

-Space can be a problem, if you don't have enough

The new plant will have exactly the same genetics to the father/mother plant, in other words a mutation. This means good traits will not be lost.

Easier than trying to fertilise the plants, as may not have correct environment, or may be wrong time of the season.

Can be done all year round as long as it is kept in a warm, sunny place.

The advantages are that it impoves the quality of the air, reduces CO2 and provides wildlife habitats. I can only think of one disadvantage which is that it takes up countryside and land.

What are the advantages of plants reproducing?

Well, if a plant is rare, then reproducing will help keep the plant species going for years of study. Also, if a plant has been around for thousands of years(or more) then they are definitely worth reproducing for biologists and botanists to study. We can learn many things from plants like how they stay alive through the ice age or why and how they live wherever they live, and sometimes plants can even help with medicine. I know my family keeps an aloe vera plant on our counter for burns.
