pros.
A computerized and minimally mechanized space probe would have only a small fraction of the needs and equipment of a human housing space ship. This would save on mass and therefore fuel.
A mechanized probe has a lot less functioning parts therefore there is less that can go wrong with it.
A mechanized space probe could survive the years that it take to get to its destination. Humans tend to get bored and psychotic.
The first planet to be explored by a space probe is Venus. Hope this helps. : )
an unmanned space probe is a satellite orbiting around the planet
A rover simply roves and explores a planet and is designed to move across the surface of a planet or other astronomical body. and a probe is like a missile and gets shot out of the earths atmosphere very very fast and when is up in space takes photos and sends them back to earth, kind of like the Hubble Space Telescope (HST).
Well i know America's first successful probe to another planet wasnt Voyager
Yes, the Parker Solar Probe was launched August 12, 2018.
Venus was the first planet on which a space probe landed.
Pluto is one such planet that has not yet been reached by a space probe.

Neptune was the last planet to be visited by the space probe called Voyager II. It was launched by NASA and the probed flew past the planet in 1989.
A satellite goes around a planet. A probe goes "somewhere". A rover moves about on the surface of a planet.
the megellan space probe was sent to venus.
