The president has federal agencies and the armed forces to enforce policies and laws. However Congress has the purse strings to fund this.
YES. To sum it up very simply, Police are the law enforcement of each individual municipality, county, and state. The FBI is one of many Agencies which form Federal law enforcement. State and Federal laws are different and so are the agencies which enforce them.
The Australian Federal and State Police act as Law Enforcement agencies. The Australian Court System (judiciary) interpret statutory law and enforce Common Law. Parliament and the Gov.General develop Statutory Law.
The Executive Branch would have to approve of the new law (in most cases), and use the agencies under its authority to enforce that law.
Police officers enforce the law.
The purpose of the executive agencies is to implement, enforce, and ensure the laws passed by the legislative branch of the government.
It doesn't have to "enforce"its decision (that's not the court's job), when a higher court acts on the case that is the law. Everybody is supposed to obey the law. If not the police, FBI, other enforcement agencies or methods are in place to enforce the higher courts decision. However a large part of what lawyers do in all courts is cite previous court decisions of other courts at all levels to convince the judge in their case that they are interpreting the law correctly for the benefit of their client.
The president has many different government agencies and officials represented in the cabinet to help enforce laws including the Department of Interior, Secretary of the Treasury, etc. he/she also has the power to declare executive orders, and he is also the Comander -in-Chief of the armed forces.
We need the police to enforce law and order
Dozens of federal law enforcement agencies are distributed among the 14 U.S. government departments and 28 nondepartmental entities, and each federal agency empowered by Congress to enforce specific statutes has its own enforcement arm. The FBI may be the most famous law enforcement agency in the country and in the world. The mission of the FBI is to protect and defend the United States against terrorist and foreign intelligence threats, to uphold and enforce the criminal laws of the United States, and to provide leadership and criminal justice services to federal, state, municipal, and international agencies and partners.
